Hangar Features

As part of Phase 1, Weatherwise Aviation will construct four state-of-the-art hangars. Each hangar will offer three bays, two with 60 foot wide and 20 foot high doors and a central bay with 120 foot wide and 30 foot high doors.

Hangar Frontage

For owners/operators and AMO's wishing to buy into Phase 1, WWA will sell "condominium units". For those wishing to rent or lease, WWA will offer overnight, short-stay and a variety of longer-term fixed rate options. For owners/operators and AMO's wishing to occupy exclusively a complete hangar or bay for five years or more, WWA will customize the unit(s) to the client's specifications. Key features include:

• Fire suppression system

• Chemical suppression system for jet fuel fires

• Monitoring systems for fire, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide

• Fibre optic lines - High speed Internet service

• Sliding door, with a heated threshold to reduce ice build-up, will replace traditional bi-fold doors

• The construction of roof, walls and floors to R22 value in energy efficiency will minimize operating costs

• Gas-powered radiant heating will offer better heat retention and faster heat recovery

• Each unit will have 600amp power supply, 200 amp per bay.

• A floor of polished concrete with a specialized sealer will minimize cleaning and maintenance activity

• There will be general as well as private and high-security bays
